REMINDER 01:
Trauma Can Be Transformed

No matter who we are, where we’ve been, or what we’ve done, trauma can be transformed. The sad things that happened long ago will always remain part of who we are just as the glad and gracious things will too. However, instead of being a burden of guilt, recrimination, and regret that make us constantly stumble as we go, even the saddest things, can become a source of wisdom and strength for the journey that still lies ahead.

REMINDER 02:
Bitterness That Brings Depth

Sometimes, the most unpleasant parts of our stories add the richest flavor. What if bitterness has purpose? Friend, what if the ingredient you’d most like to eliminate… could take on meaning? What if the most bitter part of your story could become the most powerful ingredient in your healing? We’ve all crawled through pain, run from our wounds, and carried unsavory memories. But friend, your story doesn’t end there. That one thing you’d most like to remove might be the very thing that brings depth and wisdom to your life.

REMINDER 03:
You Are Worthy

You are worthy of true peace, deep love, and freedom from old guilts and enslaved thought patterns. We have been to hell and back with the battle scars to show for it. I’m a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a cousin, and a friend who is willing to convey, with wholehearted empathy, that I do understand. My first-hand experience compels me and fuels my determination to act. To run with compassion and an unselfish interest in the well-being of fellow broken and wounded women.
